Color story

Black, gray and white being major colors in Chanel and complimentary being the major color scheme are irrefutable. But Karl Largerfeld has brought a few of vivid color into Chanel since 2001. So colorful hue in saturation contrast and saturation constant, analogic color scheme, analogic complimentary color scheme, Triadic color scheme has also been brought into Chanel collection.Vary in color enhance the Chanel color hormony and is a breakthrough for a old brand. It put Chanel to the further stage and spread the market on all ladies and woman.

Althought vivid color exist in the collection, the elegant of Chanel collection did not weaken. The reason is that Karl Lagerfeld makes good use of different values of color that he just use few bright (primary and secondary) colors while use a lot of tertiary(tints, shades and tones) color as sateration contrast. The higher chroma of colors are more elegant and high class and dull colors are also of this feeling.

In conclusion, Chanel collections do not just consist od 2-3 colors(black, white and gray). Up till now, The colors in colloction are various as their cosnetics.
